French chargé d'affaires summoned to Iranian Foreign Ministry

Pars Today – The French chargé d'affaires in Tehran was summoned to Iran’s Foreign Ministry on Sunday in protest of the French Foreign Minister’s meddlesome and offensive statements against the Islamic Republic.

Following insulting remarks and baseless accusations made by the French foreign minister, Mohammad Tanhaei, the Head of the Second Western Europe Department of Iran’s Foreign Ministry summoned the French envoy. He described the accusations as blatant interference in Iran’s internal affairs and strongly condemned such irresponsible and provocative positions, demanding an official explanation from Paris.
