Iran exports 800,000 tons of engineering services to Kazakhstan
Pars Today – In collaboration with China, Iran is exporting technical and engineering services in the steel sector to Kazakhstan.
A cooperation agreement was signed between Iran and a representative of a Chinese company for the export of technical and engineering services to Kazakhstan. The international contract covers basic and detailed engineering design for a sponge iron production plant with a capacity of 800,000 tons in Kazakhstan. The CEO of Iran’s ASCOTEC Holding, Amirali Taherzadeh noted that this is the first example of engineering cooperation using PERED technology, calling it an important step toward advancing indigenous technology and strengthening Iran’s steel industry in regional markets. / IRIB news agency
