Pezeshkian: Iran will not abandon its peaceful use of nuclear energy
Pars Today – The president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in an interview with Oman's TV, emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran will not abandon its peaceful use of nuclear energy.
Masoud Pezeshkian, who visited Oman on Tuesday and Wednesday, spoke about the fundamental conditions for an agreement between Iran and the United States, stating: "The conditions are the same as international laws. According to these laws, every country has the right to conduct scientific and technical research in the field of uranium enrichment and to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes."
The president of the Islamic Republic of Iran added: "As a Muslim country, we seek peace — both with Islamic nations and with other countries — but we will not surrender to oppression." (ISNA)
