Hezbollah triumphs once again
Pars Today- The Lebanese resistance movement, Hezbollah, won in the municipality and city council elections in the country.
The election lists of "Development and Fidelity" affiliated to Amal and Hezbollah movements gained decisive victory in the south of Lebanon. According to Pars Today, quoting from IRIB news agency, the election list of "Development and Fidelity", affiliated to Amal and Hezbollah, won in several cities and villages, including Chaqra, Jouaiyya, Aitaroun, al-Saksakiyeh, Froun, Deir Qanoun En Nahr, Hanine, Dibbine, al-Sultaniyeh.
Meanwhile, the National Liberal Party headquarters announced that the list supported by this current has won in Jezin region.
After the announcement of these results, car demonstration and popular gatherings were held in the cities of Tyre, al-Nabatieh, and a number of villages in the south of the country and the fans of the victorious lists, such as Hezbollah, celebrated the event.
The fourth and final phase of the municipality and local council elections was held in the southern provinces and Nabatieh on Saturday, 24 May. However, many US-affiliated parties and groups expected the defeat of resistance and decrease of Hezbollah's popularity in the south.
