Pars Today- Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman said countries that have made their territory and facilities available to the United States and the Israeli regime for aggression against Iran must answer for this “complicity in an act of international aggression.”
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei described “holding European countries accountable” as one of the key issues raised during a meeting with ambassadors, heads of diplomatic missions and representatives of international organizations based in Tehran. He said NATO Secretary General has once again acknowledged the use of the territory, facilities and military bases of the United States or European countries based in Europe to prepare and plan US and Israeli regime attacks against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He added: “The Islamic Republic of Iran uses every opportunity to raise this issue and considers it part of the history of the region and Iran.”
Baghaei stressed that from the perspective of the Islamic Republic of Iran, countries that have made their territory or facilities available to the United States and the Israeli regime must answer for their actions, because, in his words, this amounts to complicity and participation in an international criminal act.
He continued: “The commission of the crime of international aggression and the use of force against an independent country that is a member of the United Nations is unacceptable to Iran.”
