UN: All Gaza residents face famine risk

Pars Today – The spokesperson for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has warned that 200,000 people have been displaced in Gaza over the past two weeks, and 100% of the population is now at risk of famine.

The UN official also warned that the entire population of Gaza is facing the threat of famine. Meanwhile, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) stated in a report that the Gaza Strip is in urgent need of immediate humanitarian assistance and stressed that such aid must be allowed to flow freely and without interruption.
