UNRWA: Current humanitarian aid distribution method is degrading

Pars Today – An adviser to the media office of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) criticized the mechanism for distributing humanitarian aid in Gaza, calling it degrading and inhumane.

Adnan Abu Hasna stated that targeting starving civilians and besieging them by the Zionist regime is horrific. He added that nowhere in Gaza is safe, bombardments continue relentlessly, and hunger and famine are escalating. Abu Hasna warned that the current aid distribution model is worsening the humanitarian crisis and urgently called for the reopening of crossings into Gaza to deliver immediate support to its residents. /IRNA
