Ghalibaf's message to world: Iran & Cuba are united in fight against imperialism

Pars Today – The speaker of Iran’s Islamic Consultative Assembly said the Islamic Republic and Cuba must strengthen their relations and resist the enemy’s unilateralism by utilizing all available capacities.

During his ongoing tour of Latin America, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf arrived in Cuba on Tuesday and, upon arrival at Havana Airport, met with the vice president of the Cuban National Assembly. In the meeting, he stated: “Imperialism has never brought anything but oppression, injustice, and pressure.”

Iran's Parliament (Majlis) speaker added: “Freedom and independence come at a cost, and countries that wish to remain free and independent are always under pressure from imperialist powers. Iran and Cuba share common goals, friends, and enemies.” (Tasnim news agency)
