Iran's FM spox: Imam Khomeini embodied both steadfast resistance and rational engagement

Pars Today – The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, commemorating the anniversary of the heavenly departure of the late Founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini (God's mercy upon him), emphasized that the late Imam taught the nation both steadfastness in resistance and rationality in engagement.

Esmaeil Baghaei, in a post on X on the occasion of the 36th passing away anniversary of Imam Khomeini (God's mercy upon him), wrote on Wednesday: “We honor the anniversary of the heavenly departure of Imam Khomeini, the late Founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

Highlighting that Imam Khomeini (God's mercy upon him) was not merely a leader but also the architect of Iran’s independence and a herald of dignity and human honor for the Iranian people, Baghaei noted: “He taught us that revolutionary passion awakens hearts, and that wise discernment is essential to continue the path.
