Iran, Tajikistan presidents emphasize strengthening strategic relations and implementing agreements
Pars Today – The presidents of Iran and Tajikistan, in a telephone call on Thursday, stressed the importance of strengthening strategic ties, implementing recent agreements, and enhancing bilateral cooperation based on shared interests and cultural affinities.
During the call, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian congratulated President Emomali Rahmon and the brotherly, culturally related people of Tajikistan on Eid al-Adha. Citing the historical, cultural, and linguistic bonds between the two countries, he described the level of bilateral relations as very satisfactory and expressed hope that full implementation of agreements would further deepen ties, expand strategic cooperation, and serve the common interests of both nations. President Rahmon also reiterated the strong determination of senior officials in Tehran and Dushanbe to deepen bilateral relations in all fields. (IRNA)
