Iravani: US allegations against Iran are political and biased

Pars Today – Iran’s permanent representative to the United Nations on Thursday evening (local time in New York) categorically rejected the US allegations against Iran, calling them politically motivated and baseless, and stressed that such statements are intended to deflect attention from the crimes of the Zionist regime.

In a letter to Carolyn Rodrigues-Birkett, President of the UN Security Council and Antonio Guterres, UN Secretary-General, Amir Saeed Iravani strongly rejected the baseless references and groundless accusations made by the US representative during the 9929th Security Council session on the agenda item “the situation in West Asia, including the Palestinian question,” ahead of the vote on the Gaza ceasefire draft resolution.

He added that such allegations lack any legal basis or credibility. The Iranian envoy stressed that selective approaches and double standards should have no place in addressing large-scale crimes. (IRIB news agency)
