Jeffrey Sachs: The US is in no position to enter conflict with Iran

Pars Today – An American academic has stated that Washington is in a weakened position, indicating that the US is not truly seeking war with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Jeffrey Sachs, an economist, public policy analyst, and professor at American universities, speaking in an online session of the International Conference on European and American Studies hosted by the University of Tehran’s Faculty of World, emphasized that the US is now the only remaining supporter of the Zionist regime. He said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continues his actions while Washington still stands by him and sustains the blockade on Palestine. Sachs also underscored the deep political divisions currently plaguing the United States. (ISNA)
