Weizmann Institute's chief: Iran's missile attack inflicted massive damage
Pars Today – The head of Israel’s Weizmann Institute of Science admitted Monday that Iran’s missile strikes caused immense financial damage to the Zionist regime by destroying the institute’s facilities.
According to Pars Today, the head of the Weizmann Institute stated that the destruction caused by Iran’s missile attacks amounted to two billion shekels. He added that the cost of just one of the institute’s microscopes exceeded one million dollars, and that 52 laboratories were destroyed while 60 other buildings sustained damage.
The Weizmann Institute, founded in 1934 in the occupied town of Rehovot, is one of the regime’s leading research centers involved in the development of weaponry for the Haganah — a Zionist paramilitary group that used terror tactics to spread fear among Palestinians during the early years of Israel’s formation.
The institute also collaborates with the Israeli military and defense contractor Elbit Systems on weapons research and development.
