Iran expresses gratitude to Latin American nations
Pars Today – The director general for the Americas at Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed appreciation for the positions taken by Latin American countries in condemning the coordinated aggression by the Israeli regime and the United States against Iranian territory.
Issa Kamali, citing the official statements and stances of Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, and Colombia, described them as “responsible” and “reflecting serious concern over the blatant violation of international law and the UN Charter” by Washington and Tel Aviv. He said the coordinated military action by Israel and the United States against Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity constituted a clear violation of Article 2, Paragraph 4 of the United Nations Charter and a serious blow to the international non-proliferation regime.
Kamali added that the United States, its allies, and all governments that justify Israel’s violation of international law through silence or complicity bear direct responsibility for the consequences of these actions.
He further referred to the massacring of approximately 60,000 innocent Palestinians by the Israeli regime in the past two years and said that this regime has a long and dark record of gross violations of legal, ethical, and humanitarian principles that cannot be ignored.
