Iran condemns new US sanctions against Cuba

Pars Today – The spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry has condemned the United States’ imposition of a new round of sanctions on the Cuban people, calling it a continuation of Washington’s criminal policy of economic blockade.

Esmaeil Baghaei wrote on X: “Once again, US’s addiction to bullying and sanctions targets an independent nation determined to defend its right to self-determination and to preserve its independence and dignity.”

He emphasized that such cruel and unlawful measures will never affect the resolve of the Cuban people and leadership in resisting US hegemonic policies.
Baghaei stated that Iran, having itself endured decades of unlawful US sanctions, expresses solidarity with the people and government of Cuba.
