Zionist airstrike targets Syrian General Staff Headquarters entrance

Pars Today – News sources have reported that the Zionist regime carried out an airstrike on the entrance to the General Staff Headquarters of the Syrian Army in the capital city of Damascus.

Israeli television, citing a security source, confirmed that the Israeli military had struck Damascus and said the attack was meant as a message to Ahmad Al-Shara (Al-Jolani), Syria’s interim President, in connection with recent events in Sweida.

Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported that two civilians were injured in the strike. Other sources indicated that gunfire could still be heard in the Syrian capital following the attack. (IRNA)
