Pars Today – The foreign ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United Arab Emirates held discussions on strengthening bilateral relations and the latest regional developments, particularly the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories.
On Friday night, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, held a phone conversation with Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The two sides reviewed bilateral relations in various political, economic, and trade sectors and emphasized the importance of utilizing all existing and potential capacities to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
During the call, the latest regional developments — especially the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories — were also discussed. The Iranian foreign minister, while highlighting the Zionist regime's addiction to warmongering and lawlessness, stressed the need for all regional countries to remain vigilant against this regime’s conspiracies aimed at destabilizing the region.
