India strongly reacts to U.S. tariff hike

Pars Today – In response to threats by U.S. President Donald Trump, India announced in a statement:

“Like any other major economy, India will take all necessary measures to protect its national interests and economic security.”

On Tuesday, following Trump’s announcement of another increase in tariffs, India’s Ministry of External Affairs released a statement, declaring:

“Targeting India is unfair and unreasonable. Like any other major economy, India will take all necessary measures to safeguard its national interests and economic security.”
