Hamas spokesman: Children dying from cold in Gaza a blatant crime

Pars Today — Spokesperson for the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), described the deaths of children from extreme cold in the Gaza Strip as an open and blatant crime.

Speaking on Thursday, Hazem Qassem Hamas spokespeson said that the presence of displaced people—especially children—in tents, along with the lack of proper shelter and heating supplies, is the main cause of these humanitarian tragedies.

He added that the genocidal war waged by the Zionist regime against the Gaza Strip, which began on October 7, 2023, with US support, has resulted in more than 70,000 martyrs and 171,000 injuries, most of them women and children. He also said the war has destroyed around 90 percent of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure./ IRNA
