Pars Today – Belgium’s foreign minister described the Israeli regime’s decision to construct new settlements as an “unacceptable violation of international law.”
Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prévot, in a statement, said that the announcement by the Israeli regime’s security cabinet regarding the establishment of 19 new settlements in the West Bank constitutes a clear and unacceptable breach of international law. Expressing support for the two-state solution, Prévot said the Israeli decision runs in open opposition to this framework.
Germany’s government has also described the continued construction of Israeli settlements in the West Bank as a blatant violation of international law and has called for an immediate halt to these settlement activities. /IRNA
