Iran: Voting starts in parliamentary, Assembly of Experts’ elections (Video)

Iranians are heading to the polls to elect 290 members of Majlis (the parliament) and 7 members of the Assembly of Experts - a body whose members designate the country’s Leader - in its midterm elections.

According to Press TV, voting started at 8 a.m. local time (04:30 GMT) and will continue till 6 p.m. (14:30 GMT).

Images shared on social media showed long lines of people standing in front of polling stations shortly before the voting began.
