Iran’s Embassy in Yemen commemorates martyrdom of Lt. Gen. Soleimani

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic in Sana’a held an event Sunday to mark the first anniversary of the martyrdom of the late Iranian Commander Lt. General Qasem Soleimani.

According to Press TV, the event highlighted the fact that the assassination had further united Muslims against the government of the United States, and disclosed how significantly Lt. General Soleimani had undermined the US policies in the region.

For more than two decades, Lt. General Soleimani had the upper hand in supporting the Palestinian resistance forces against the Israeli occupation, and he also had a prominent role in defending Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq.
