Top diplomats discuss Iran-Armenia ties

The foreign ministers of Iran and Armenia talked about the relations between the two neighbors as well as various regional developments.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Armenian counterpart Ara Ayvazyan have discussed the relations between Tehran and Yerevan in a telephone conversation, the Foreign Ministry of Armenia announced. 

According to Tasnim news agency, the two top diplomats expressed satisfaction with the dynamism of relations between the two countries, which are based upon centuries-old friendship, it said.

Zarif and Ayvazyan also talked about various regional issues.
