President congratulates Iranian wrestling, beach soccer teams on world titles

Iran's President Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi congratulated the country's Greco-Roman Wrestling and Beach Soccer National Teams on winning world titles.

According to Tasnim news agency, in a message on Sunday night, President Raeisi congratulated the National Beach Soccer Team on winning the title in the 2022 Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup, held in the UAE.

The president described the beach footballers’ success in winning the trophy as a display of “strong Iran” in international athletic arenas.

In another message, the president praised the Iranian Greco-Roman wrestlers on winning the title of the 2022 Greco-Roman World Cup in Baku, the Republic of Azerbaijan, saying the glorious victory demonstrates the young Iranian athletes’ capabilities and competence.
