In congratulatory messages for Iran on the Muslim feast of Eid al-Adha, the heads of Iraq, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar expressed their countries’ enthusiasm for the promotion of relation with Iran in diverse fields.

According to Tasnim news agency, Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamin Bin Hamad Al Thani, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani, and President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al Nahyan had separate phone calls with Iranian President Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi to congratulate him on Eid al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice).

The three Arab leaders called for the development of comprehensive relations with Iran in various areas.

Eid al-Adha marks the willingness of Prophet Abraham (PBUH) to sacrifice his son Prophet Ismail on God’s command.

Muslims celebrate the occasion across the world, which comes as the annual Hajj season in the holy city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia draws to a close.
