Despite sanctions Iranian goods exported to 142 countries

Pars Today – Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade announced that Iranian goods have been exported to 142 countries.
According to Pars Today, Seyyed Rouhollah Latifi, spokesperson for the International Relations and Development Commission of Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, announced that Iranian goods were exported to 142 countries worldwide during the first eight months of the year 1404 (Iranian calendar). He said that despite the pressures of the hegemonic system and existing restrictions, Iran’s exports reached five continents and 142 countries, while imports were carried out from 105 countries.
Latifi stated that in the first eight months of the current year, more than 131 million tons of goods, worth $76.537 billion, were traded between Iran and other countries. Of this total, 105.231 million tons of goods, valued at $36.997 billion, accounted for Iran’s exports to 142 countries.
He added that more than 25.823 million tons of goods, worth $39.540 billion, were also purchased and imported into Iran from 105 countries worldwide.
Latifi, referring to the export destinations of Iranian goods during these eight months, said that China, with purchases worth $9.255 billion, Iraq with $6.719 billion, the United Arab Emirates with $5.216 billion, Turkey with $4.393 billion, and Afghanistan with $1.660 billion were the top five destinations for Iranian exports.
He added that, apart from China, the other four leading destinations were Iran’s neighboring countries, which together accounted for around 50 percent of Iran’s total exports.
