Iranian Para athletes make history in Hangzhou

Iran’s Para athletic delegation made history in the fourth edition of the Asian Para Games.

According to Tasnim news agency, the Iranian team came second, winning 44 gold medals, 46 silvers and 41 bronzes.

China claimed the title with 214 gold medals, 167 silvers and 140 bronzes.

Japan finished in third place with 42 golds, 49 silvers and 59 bronzes.

South Korea came fourth with 30 gold medals, 33 silvers and 40 bronzes.

Iran had sent 210 para athletes to the Games.

Iran's National Team had come third in the 2018 Asian Para Games.
