Pars Today – Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in a meeting with a group of senior commanders of Iran's Armed Forces on Sunday, sincerely appreciated their efforts and successes in recent events, emphasizing: "By the grace of God, the armed forces displayed a good image of their capabilities and might, as well as a praiseworthy image of the Iranian nation, proving the manifestation of the Iranian nation's willpower on the international stage."

The Leader in this meeting congratulated the National Army Day and the anniversary of the establishment of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and stressed that the recent achievements of the armed forces have created a sense of grandeur and glory about Islamic Iran in the eyes of the world and international observers.

Ayatollah Khamenei added: "The number of missiles fired or hit their targets, which the other side has focused on, is a secondary issue. The main issue is the manifestation of the willpower of the Iranian nation and its armed forces on the international stage, and proving it, which is the source of the other side's distress."

Last week, the IRGC responded to the Zionist regime's crime of attacking Iran's embassy in Damascus by firing more than 300 ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and offensive drones, targeting several military sites in the Israeli-occupied territories.

This operation, dubbed the world's largest drone and missile operation, had a widespread impact on the international community and brought joy to freedom-seekers worldwide. 

Imam Khamenei, in this meeting, appreciated the prudence observed in the actions of the armed forces, stating: "Various events come with costs and achievements, and it is important to reduce costs and increase achievements through prudence, which the armed forces did well in recent events."

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, while appreciating the efforts and activities of the IRGC, Army and police forces, advised Iran's armed forces to continue their efforts and confront the enmities and enemies by relying on innovation and initiative

The Leader noted: "We must not stop for a moment because stopping means backpedaling, so innovation in the production of weapons and methods, as well as understanding the enemy's tactics, should always be on the agenda."

Emphasizing that the dignity of the Iranian nation must be prominent in the world's view, the Leader added: "While identifying talented and creative forces, have a good opinion of God Almighty, rely on Him, and know that God's promise to defend the believers is certain and inviolable."

In this meeting, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution also expressed special gratitude to the families of commanders and different ranks of the Army, IRGC, and Police forces, noting: "The main burden of hardships falls on the spouses and children of the armed forces who endure the difficulties."

Also in this meeting, Chief of Staff of Iran's Armed Forces Major General Bagheri, referring to the significant developments of the year, including the 'Al-Aqsa Storm' operation and 'True Promise' operation in punishing the Zionist regime, provided a brief report on the latest readiness and capabilities of the armed forces.
