Baghaei: "Trigger Mechanism" threat will face appropriate response from Iran

Pars Today – The spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry stated Monday that any threat to invoke the JCPOA’s "Trigger Mechanism" is a political move intended to confront Iran and will be met with an appropriate response.

Esmaeil Baghaei, responding to European threats to activate the snapback sanctions mechanism, said such action has no legal or international basis and constitutes a hostile political act.

He added that should this threat materialize, Iran will respond accordingly.
Regarding the continued crimes of the Zionist regime against the people of Gaza, Baghaei said that Islamic and regional countries bear a heavy responsibility. “Failure to take serious action will only fuel further Israeli aggression and expansionism,” he warned.
