Pars Today – A scientific paper by Dr. Seyyed Amirhossein Feqhi, a martyred Iranian nuclear scientist and faculty member at Shahid Beheshti University, has been published in the prestigious international journal AIP Advances, one year after he was martyred in Israeli attacks on Iran.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, the paper focuses on the design and construction of an advanced magnetic structure for proton sources. It presents a solution aimed at reducing energy consumption, miniaturizing equipment and improving the performance of systems used in nuclear technology.

The publication of the research by the Iranian nuclear scientist and Shahid Beheshti University faculty member in the prestigious international journal AIP Advances, more than a year after he was martyred in Israeli attacks on Iran, has once again brought the late Iranian scientist’s name into the international scientific and technological community.

Amirhossein Feqhi was born on September 11, 1978. He was a full professor at the Faculty of Nuclear Engineering and head of Shahid Beheshti University’s Nuclear Science and Technology Research Institute.

He held a PhD in nuclear engineering, specializing in energy. In addition to teaching at the university, he served as head of the Radiation Applications Department, deputy head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, and head of the university’s Nuclear Science and Technology Research Institute.

During his scientific and research career, the young Iranian scientist received several honors, including being named an outstanding researcher at Shahid Beheshti University in 2015, an exemplary lecturer at the university in 2011, and the university’s top researcher in 2010. He also won second place in the applied research category at the 23rd Khwarizmi International Award in 2009.

Feqhi was martyred on Friday, June 13, 2025, when Israel launched an airstrike on his home in Tehran.
