  • Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson: Anti-Iranian statement by EU representative is fundamentally false

Pars Today - The spokesperson of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, condemning the statement of the EU High Representative on Iran's involvement in the Ukraine conflict, emphasized: The EU should refrain from making accusations based on false information.

Despite Iran's official position on the Ukraine war and emphasizing peaceful solutions to resolve the conflict, the European Union Council issued an anti-Iranian statement on September 13, relying on unproven claims, stating that the transfer of Iranian-made ballistic missiles to Russia is a direct threat to European security and indicates a significant escalation in the supply of Iranian drones and ammunition that Russia has used in its war against Ukraine.

According to Pars Today, Nasser Kan'ani also warned about the insistence of some parties to continue adopting destructive positions, statements, and declarations, saying: I clearly remind the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran again. Any claim about Iran selling ballistic missiles to Russia is fundamentally false.

Kan'ani also emphasized the West's destructive approach of using the obsolete weapon of sanctions, saying: Unfortunately, some Western parties are addicted to imposing sanctions; a path that not only does not help solve problems but is also part of the problem and will face Iran's response.
