Maduro: Ayatollah Khamenei upholds Islamic Revolution with wisdom and resolve

Pars Today – Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro has praised the late founder of Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini (God's mercy upon him) and current Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, describing the latter as a wise and resolute figure who has upheld the Islamic system.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of Venezuela’s International Book Fair, Maduro honored both Imam Khomeini (God's mercy upon him) and Ayatollah Khamenei as great and noble personalities. He recalled his meetings with the Iranian Leader in 2000 and 2010, praising his insight, patience, and strength, and calling him a sagacious leader with a deep understanding of global affairs. / IRNA
