Large-scale “Devotees of Iran” parade begins in Tehran

Pars Today – The 313,000-strong “Devotees of Iran” parade, involving community groups, has begun in Tehran, the capital of Iran.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, the large-scale 313,000-strong “Devotees of Iran” parade began at 8 a.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026, in Tehran. Brigadier General Hassan Hassanzadeh, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Mohammad Rasoulollah Corps, had previously announced that “the central venue for this exercise and gathering is Tehran’s Enghelab Square.”

Regarding registration for the “Janfada” campaign, Brigadier General Hassanzadeh said: “This was done previously. The ‘Devotees of Iran’ campaign initially involved people declaring their readiness to participate, while at another stage, participants filled out forms and indicated their areas of interest across seven fields, including supporting the war effort, search and rescue, poverty alleviation, defense and others.”

According to him, the exercise, which was designed with the participation of civilian and organized forces, will serve as another symbol of the unprecedented synergy between the IRGC, the Islamic Republic of Iran Army Ground Forces (NEZAJA) and various segments of Iranian society in efforts to enhance sustainable security and counter potential threats.
