Pars Today- Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs stressed that the United States cannot evade responsibility by withdrawing from the UN Human Rights Council.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Kazem Gharibabadi, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, wrote on social media on Friday following reports that the United States had officially withdrawn from the UN Human Rights Council:

“History will not forget; in Minab, a school was stained with the blood of 168 children, while in Lamerd, a sports field was turned into a slaughterhouse for civilians. Everyone now acknowledges that the events in Minab and Lamerd were not an operational error, but an obvious war crime. The United States cannot evade responsibility by withdrawing from the Human Rights Council.”
