Iran condemns terrorist attack in Pakistan

Pars Today- Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei strongly condemned a terrorist attack on a mosque near a police station in Kohat, in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, during Friday prayers, which left dozens of people dead or injured.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Baghaei stressed the Islamic Republic of Iran’s principled position of firmly condemning all forms of terrorism and violent extremism, emphasizing that terrorist and violent acts against civilians and security forces have absolutely no justification.

Baghaei also stressed the need to strengthen cooperation and coordination among regional countries to effectively and continuously combat terrorism.
