Pars Today - According to some Turkish politicians, the recent anti-Iranian statements by the head of the Turkish state radio and television organization (TRT) were in line with the Israeli regime.

Zahid Sobaji, the head of TRT, targeted the Islamic Republic of Iran with verbal attacks at the opening ceremony of Bursa Uludağ University on Thursday.

According to Pars Today, Sobaji at the ceremony, referring to the launch of 41 foreign languages on TRT, in a strange and awkward statement said: "By the end of the year, we will launch the Persian language of this network. We must disturb Iran!"

In this regard, some prominent Turkish figures reacted to these words.

Ümit Özdağ, the leader of the nationalist "Zafer" party in Turkey, said: "Apparently, the Justice and Development Party has decided to be alongside the United States and Israel against Iran."

Doğu Perinçek, the leader of the Turkish Homeland Party, also announced in a statement: "Only supporters of the United States and Israel can make such statements. What disturbs Iran will satisfy the United States and Israel. These statements express the new line taken."

Also in this regard, Ehsan Movahedian, an analyst, wrote in a note for Iranian Diplomacy: "Zahid Sobaji, the head of the Turkish state television TRT, boldly said: We will launch the TRT Persian network by the end of this year. We must disturb Iran!"

The astonishing point is that no one in the audience criticizes him for why Turkey should try to disturb Iran, and what is the purpose of such statements at this sensitive time when the Islamic world should focus on the crimes of the Zionist regime in Palestine and Lebanon? Can a government employee in Turkey use such a reckless and threatening tone against his neighboring country without coordinating and permission of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of Turkey?

According to some media, this action, which is essentially a media movement to influence Iran, similar to the actions of Saudi Arabia and Israel to launch the anti-Iranian television Iran International, especially the insulting literature of the head of Turkish state television, will have consequences.

Ahmad Norouzi, the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB)'s World Service reacted to the head of TRT's statements by tweeting: "While we remain focused on reporting daily massacres by the Zionist regime in Palestine & Lebanon & undistracted by unhealthy & imprudent remarks, we reserve the right to take appropriate reciprocal measures. We at IRIB hope Turkish officials would rightly condemn & clarify it."
