Sunni scholars address Muslim leaders, youths: Confront Zionist regime

Pars Today- More than 1,300 Sunni elites, scholars and thinkers in Iran, in a statement to the leaders and youths of Muslim countries, congratulated the Islamic Republic of Iran's victory over the US and the Zionist regime.

Following the recent developments in the region and victory of the Islamic Republic of Iran against the Zionist regime, over 1,300 Sunni thinkers and scholars issued a statement on Sunday. According to Pars Today, part of the statement reads,

"In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

And victory comes from Allah, the All-mighty, the All-wise.

Leaders of Islamic countries, noble scholars and thinkers of the Islamic world, dear Muslim youths!

Congratulating the victory of the Islamic Republic of Iran over the US and the Zionist regime which is considered the victory of Islam over unfaith, we state the following:

The wicked Zionist regime, whose illegitimate semen was shaped on violence and is based on the nasty policies of Britain and evil policies of the US and still persists, has caught the body of the Islamic countries like a cancerous tumor.

This bloodthirsty regime, which has occupied holy Quds and the first Qibla of Muslims with the help and support of its faithless allies, spared not a single day to massacre defenseless Palestinian children and women and continued these shameless crimes until the valiant youths of Gaza lost patience and on October 7 (2023) created a unique epic and seriously challenged the hollow pomp of this regime and its supporters in security, military and even economic dimensions with Operation al-Aqsa Flood.

Why should you not fight in the way of Allah and the abased men, women and children?

[Thus], they rose up to defend the defenseless Palestinian people and wholeheartedly accepted the price of countering the armed faithless.

Therefore, this cancerous tumor, with the help of the aggressive US and a few self-sold countries embarked on confronting the Islamic supporters of Palestine and … martyred unsheltered people and combatants like Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, Seyyed Hashem Safieddine, Ismail Haniyeh and Yahya al-Sinwar."

The statement continues,

"This murderous and bloodthirsty regime thought that nobody would take the lead in the Islamic world… and thought that it could overthrow the Iranian state, but was overwhelmed in a huge whirlpool, while it had already failed to eliminate Hamas and raised its hands for submission before Yemen.

Today, the fake Zionist regime has decided to fight the Islamic countries one by one… now they have come to Iran and the shameless Trump speaks of eliminating the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, the great Leader of the Islamic Resistance Front. So, do know it that tomorrow will be the turn of other Islamic countries… Today is like the Battle of Ahzab (Confederates). but their evil will continue till complete annihilation of unfaith.

Today, we Sunni thinkers of Islamic Iran announce loudly that standing and resisting against the armed faithless is a divine obligation. It is time for the leaders and thinkers of Islamic countries to become the hand of the divine revenge and publicize their clear stance against the Zionist regime, and confront all American bases, embassies and companies across the world… in a bid to hinder the way of their advancement… as today is the day of battle of determinations."

The statement of Iran's Sunni scholars concluded,

"Today is the day of choice, determination and action. Today is the day to practice the verse, "Do not weaken or grieve: you shall have the upper hand, should you be faithful." Know that victory will come with steadfastness in the way of truth, as God has said, "If they are steadfast, on the path [of Allah], We shall provide them with abundant water."
