Qalibaf: Any act of aggression will receive a swift and regrettable response

Pars Today - Iran's Mjlis (parliamnet) Speaker, in remarks delivered at the open parliamentary session, responded to the U.S. president’s reckless positions, warning: “Any act of aggression or adventurism will be met with a swift response that will make the aggressor regret it.”

According to a Pars Today report citing IRIB News Agency; Mohammad-Bagher Qalibaf, the Speaker of Iran's Majlis, said at today's open session of the parliament on Tuesday: A nation that has such a brilliant and deep-rooted history should never be frightened by siege and threats. If the American enemy's calculating apparatus does not understand this fundamental truth, it will remain trapped in the cycle of receiving heavy slaps from the Iranian nation. Of course, the flippant positions of the American president at the United Nations General Assembly and his audacity toward the great and civilization-building Iranian nation showed that they have still not changed their behavior, and in the face of such audacity, our response is the same explicit word as before: "Bring it on!" The Americans should know that the era of intimidation and threats to destroy this civilized nation is over.

Qalibaf emphasized: The leaders of the White House must know that the valiant and history-making Iranian nation will never back down through line-drawing, rhetoric, or aerial and commercial blockade, and the Islamic Republic of Iran's response to any aggression and adventure will be a harsh, regret-inducing, precise, and swift response.

He continued: The delusional American president recently made rhetoric about the Strait of Hormuz and the passage of ships through this strait, which is a repetition of previous claims, and the truth of these baseless positions is known to all. Both the Americans and other countries should know: as we said before, in a region where we do not sell oil, no one will sell oil, and if our security is not ensured, no infrastructure will be safe.
