Iran's Parliament Speaker, head of Strategic Council on Foreign Relations warn Europe about the Persian Gulf
Pars Today - Iran's Parliament Speaker said: The European Union and others making absurd claims should know that the three islands of Bu Musa, Greater Tunb and Lesser Tunb are inseparable parts of Iran.
Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said on Sunday that the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council, instead of using its power to stop the war machine of the Zionist regime, continues to make baseless claims about the territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to Pars Today, Qalibaf, referring to the recent anti-Iranian joint statement of the European Union and the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council, added: The three islands are part of Iran's body.
He also said: The European Union and others making absurd claims should know that the three islands of Bu Musa, Greater Tunb and Lesser Tunb are inseparable parts of Iran and no one will dare to take action against this established principle.
Qalibaf warned the countries that question Iran’s sovereignty over the three islands that they “had better not test the will of the Iranian nation to establish that principle for the sake of their existence.”
Qalibaf also asked the government to prepare the executive arrangements for the implementation of Article 61 of the Seventh Development Plan Law to develop these Iranian islands as soon as possible.
Earlier, Kamal Kharazi, the head of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations, in a statement explaining the motivations of the European Union in supporting the UAE's claim about the three Iranian islands, warned the officials of this country:
Abandon hostility towards Iran over its territorial integrity and instead of resorting to this and that, which have economic motives in supporting the UAE's claim, return to dialogue to pursue what is based on historical facts and existing documents. Remove the difference and develop peace and tranquility in the region, otherwise, the path that others pave for them will not have any result other than destruction and war.
