Localization of around 1,000 pieces in Iran’s South Pars 4th refinery

Pars Today - The head of the fourth refinery of Iran’s South Pars gas complex announced self-sufficiency in the construction of about a thousand items of goods and technical equipment in this refinery.

Behzad Salari said: "Using the knowledge and expertise of Iranian forces and benefiting from domestic knowledge-based companies, 986 items of goods and technical equipment of the fourth refinery of South Pars gas complex have been localized."

According to Pars Today, Salari added: "The fourth refinery of South Pars gas complex, using the power and knowledge of worthy and efficient Iranian youth and access to modern knowledge, has become independent of the use and application of foreign goods."

It is worth noting that the fourth refinery of South Pars gas complex is located adjacent to the first and third phases of this complex.

The South Pars gas field is the largest gas field in the world, located in the Persian Gulf and jointly in the territorial waters of Iran and Qatar.

The in-place natural gas reserve of the South Pars field is estimated to be around 51 trillion cubic meters, and its recoverable reserve is estimated to be around 36 trillion cubic meters.
