Chinese FM: Iran is our strategic partner

Pars Today - The Chinese Foreign Minister described Iran as China's strategic partner in the West Asia region.

During a meeting with Iran’s Foreign Minister "Seyyed Abbas Araghchi," on Wednesday, “Wang Yi," the Chinese Foreign Minister, stated: Iran is China's strategic partner in the West Asia region. 

According to Pars Today, the Chinese Foreign Minister said during this meeting: The friendship between China and Iran has remained steadfast through the ups and downs of international challenges, and developing relations between China and Iran will be a shared strategic choice for both parties.

According to "Wang Yi," in recent years, China and Iran have cooperated and supported each other during difficult times. Through these actions, they have deepened mutual political trust, strengthened their common relations in practical cooperation, and united in fighting against unilateral bullying.

According to a report published on the website of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Araghchi also stated during this meeting: "Iran highly values the development of relations with China, adheres to the One-China principle, and supports China in safeguarding its core interests."

Iran's Foreign Minister emphasized during this meeting that the friendship between the two countries is based on solid foundations and will not be influenced by external factors. He stated that in the face of U.S. misuse of tariffs and bullying, Iran will continue to firmly support China, jointly oppose unilateralism, and support multilateralism.
The two sides also exchanged views on regional issues during this meeting, including the Gaza war, Syria, Yemen, and the situation in the Red Sea.

Araghchi: President Pezeshkian to visit China soon
Iran's Foreign Minister, after meeting with the Chinese Foreign Minister on Wednesday, announced that following consultations with officials in this country, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran will soon visit China.

Araghchi went on to say: The year 2025 is a golden year in Iran-China relations. There will be two meetings between the leaders, as well as frequent meetings between Mr. Wang Yi and myself. We hope the existing projects will come to fruition.
