Grossi's phone call with Araghchi; IAEA backing Iran's nuclear diplomacy

Pars Today- Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency welcomed continuation of Iran-US indirect negotiations.
According to Pars Today, Rafael Grossi, Director-General of the IAEA, in a phone call with Iran's Foreign Minister, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi on Sunday evening, stressed the body's assistance to advance Iran-America indirect talks.
During the conversation, Grossi welcoming the continuation of Iran-America indirect talks, announced that the agency is ready to provide any support for this process. He emphasized the IAEA's role in facilitating nuclear talks with regards to its legal duties.
Araghchi, for his part, referred to Iran's commitment to Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and underscored continuation of Tehran's cooperation with the IAEA within the framework of international commitments.
He also called for rapid settlement of the remaining safeguard issues through the agency's technical and professional approach, and informed Grossi of the latest developments pertaining to the Iran-American negotiations.
