Imam Khamenei’s full support for the working class: Workers are pillars of society’s stability, endurance

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khamenei
Pars Today - On Saturday morning, Imam Khamenei, in a meeting with thousands of workers on the occasion of Labor Week, emphasized that achieving the slogan of “investment for production” hinges on serious attention to workers as the most critical asset of labor and one of the pillars of society’s stability and endurance. He stressed that consuming Iranian goods must become a cultural norm in the country, alongside efforts to improve the quality of domestic products.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, addressing thousands of workers from across Iran, tied labor issues to the country’s fate. Highlighting the value of work and workers, he said: “Dear workers must recognize their worth, because earning a halal livelihood—through honest work, avoiding exploitation and parasitism, and meeting social needs by producing goods and services—is a deeply valuable human trait. In the eyes of Almighty God, it is considered a virtuous deed.”
According to Pars Today, quoting the website of the Leader’s Office, Imam Khamenei elaborated on the value of work, stating: “Work is the central pillar of human life’s management and continuity. Without it, life would be paralyzed. While knowledge and capital are important for work, without the worker, nothing progresses. It is the worker who gives life to capital.”
Referring to this year’s slogan, “Investment for Production,” the Leader reiterated that the worker is the most important production asset and one of the foundational pillars of a stable society. Stressing that financial investment without the will and capability of the worker leads nowhere, he added: “That is why the enemies of societies, including the adversaries of the Islamic Republic, have sought to discourage and provoke the working class against working within the Islamic Republic’s framework.”
Citing communist efforts to halt and paralyze production at the beginning of the Revolution, he noted: “The same motives persist today, but both then and now, our workers have stood firm, and struck them hard with a firm fist.”
Imam Khamenei also highlighted the high quality of some domestic goods, noting: “Let’s make it a widespread culture for Iranians to consume Iranian products, except for goods not produced domestically.”
In the final part of his speech, addressing biased policies aimed at sidelining the Palestinian issue, he stressed: “Muslim nations must not allow rumors and irrelevant distractions to divert public attention from the issue of Palestine, Gaza, and the Zionist regime’s crimes.”
He called resistance against the Zionist regime and its supporters essential, stating: “The U.S. genuinely supports the Zionist regime. Despite political statements that may suggest otherwise, the reality is that the oppressed people of Palestine and Gaza face not only the Zionist regime but also the U.S. and Britain. Instead of stopping the crimes and massacres, they bolster the criminal by supplying weapons and resources.”
Emphasizing that transient slogans and events must not overshadow the Palestinian cause, he stated: “By God’s grace, Palestine will triumph over the Zionist occupiers, and short-lived phase of falsehood will come to an end. Just as their actions in Syria reflect not strength but weakness, which will lead to further decline.”
In conclusion, Imam Khamenei expressed hope that the Iranian nation and faithful nations would one day witness Palestine’s victory over its usurpers.
