Pars Today – Iran’s representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency said Monday night that the mere presence of uranium traces is not proof of nuclear activity.
Reza Najafi stated that Iran’s security agencies had obtained intelligence about espionage activities at certain sites, which was shared with the IAEA. He added that some uranium traces may have resulted from sabotage operations. Najafi emphasized that all allegations against Iran’s peaceful nuclear program are political and Tehran will respond to any political maneuver by the Agency. (ISNA)
