IRGC carries out retaliatory strike on U.S. fighter jet hangars
Pars Today- The Public Relations Department of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced a missile strike on hangars housing U.S. F-35, F-16 and F-15 fighter jets in the region.
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, the IRGC Public Relations Department said that, in retaliation for the U.S. regime’s aggressive attack on Iranian oil tankers, the IRGC Aerospace Force, as part of an operation to punish the aggressor, subjected the U.S. Al-Azraq base in Jordan to a heavy barrage of missiles.
According to the IRGC, during the operation, a heavy barrage of solid- and liquid-fueled ballistic missiles struck the maintenance and repair hangars, fighter jet preparation areas, and deployment sites for F-35, F-16 and F-15 fighter jets, as well as aircraft shelters, inflicting heavy damage on the enemy.
In another operation, the U.S. guided-missile destroyers DDG-119 and DDG-53, carrying cruise missiles and Aegis systems, were also targeted.
The IRGC said that targeting two U.S. vessels, eight oil tankers and 10 other vessels in violation of regulations were among its other operations carried out early Wednesday morning.
