Republican senator: Trump should end war with Iran

Pars Today- A Republican senator from West Virginia has stressed that Donald Trump should end the war with Iran.

Citing IRNA, Pars Today reported that Shelley Moore, a Republican senator from West Virginia, said Donald Trump should end the war with Iran, which has entered its seventh month, as a sharp rise in gasoline prices has heightened Americans’ concerns about the cost of living.

Shelley Moore added that the war against Iran has continued as Republican support for it in Congress has declined.

Asked about Republican Senate candidates who are distancing themselves from Trump over the issue, she said: “Such an approach is natural for an election campaign.”

Shelley Moore added that Trump had said at the beginning of the war that the conflict would be short, and the American people had expected the same. According to Moore, the prolonged war has been disappointing for Americans, particularly as they have seen gasoline prices rise.
