Pars Today – A Democratic senator from the US state of Connecticut said: “While our country’s farms are going bankrupt, gas prices are high, and Iran is stronger than ever, our president is dangerously delusional.”

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Democratic Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut, in a post on his X account referring to the losses suffered by the United States as a result of its unprovoked aggression against Iran, wrote: “18 Americans have been killed, billions of dollars in damage have been inflicted on our bases, and our missile stockpiles have been dangerously depleted.”

The Democratic senator also noted that bankruptcies among US farms have reached record levels, adding: “American families are struggling to afford the price of gasoline.”

Murphy went on to say that all of this is happening while Iran is stronger than ever, stressing: “Our president is dangerously delusional.”

Democratic Senator Chris Murphy had previously criticized Trump’s foreign policy and the war he launched against Iran, saying: “This war (against Iran) was ‘unwinnable’ from the very beginning, and no matter how strongly we emphasize how disastrous it has been, it would not be an exaggeration.”

Murphy had also previously acknowledged that US President Donald Trump had lost the war and that continued US military involvement would make the United States weaker and Iran stronger.

The member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee stressed: “The war must end, because every day the war continues, America gets weaker, Iran gets stronger, and people here in the United States struggle with rising prices.”
