Leader of Islamic Revolution in meeting with thousands of teachers and education staff
Pars Today- Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, said that the Islamic government is duty-bound to upgrade the students in the fields of science, technics, profession and faith.
The Leader, addressing thousands of the visiting teachers and staff of the ministry of education on Saturday, called appropriate depiction of teachers and creation of an attractive, lively and lovely image from teachers among the public opinion as a necessity in need of artistic and media work of the apparatuses in charge of this issue.
According to Pars Today, Ayatollah Khamenei started his speech with appreciating teachers and venerating their status, and stressing the spending in the education sector as an investment for the future of the country, he said, "Fortunately, the respectable president pays special attention to the issues of education and the respectable teacher, too, is among the prominent managers and familiar with the issues of this apparatus."

Considering materialization of good objectives and thoughts dependent on serious pursuit of them, the Leader said that appreciation of the teacher, including livelihood assistance and portraying a creative, beautiful, lively and lovely image of him, is an important duty, and added, "The result of venerating the teacher and depicting him should be done in a way that the society sees the teacher as an attractive, active, hardworking, honorable and proud personality and teaching stands on top of the jobs liked by the youth."

Imam Khamenei went on to say, " A teacher is not merely the one who teaches the textbook, rather his morality, behavior and way of attending the class and the quality of his teaching and personal characteristics, such as humbleness or haughtiness, liveliness or frustration, will be constructive for the student and will affect him even more than his parents; and if a teacher attends the class with this understanding and perception, he will take special care of his words and deeds."
Ayatollah Khamenei, then, referring to the remarks of the US president in his recent trip to the region, reiterated, "Some of the remarks of the US president in this trip are so mean and cause of abjection for the speaker and the American nation so that, basically, do not deserve to be answered."

Pointing to Trump's remarks on using power for peace, Imam Khamenei said that this is a lie and added, "When have he and the US governments used power for peace? They have used power for massacre of Gaza, warmongering in any place that is possible and for supporting their puppets."
The Leader said that using power for peace and security is possible and continued, "Accordingly, the Islamic Republic of Iran, to the dismay of the enemies, will increase its own and the country's power every day, but they [Americans] gave 10-ton bombs to the Zionist regime to drop them over the children of Gaza, hospitals and houses of people there and in Lebanon and wherever they could."
Referring to the Trump's earlier remarks on the inability of the regional countries to live even for 10 days without the US, Imam Khamenei stated, "He, in his current dealings and proposals, intends to impose this pattern on them, while this pattern is surely defeated and, with the diligence of the regional nations, the US must and will leave this region."
Leader of the Islamic Revolution, described the Zionist regime as the source of corruption, war and difference in the region and stressed, "The Zionist regime is a cancerous, dangerous and lethal tumor which should be and will be uprooted from this region."
Ayatollah Khamenei said that the principles and structure of the Islamic Republic of Iran's values build up the basis for its movement in this region which is full of developments. He said these principles are clear and obvious and added, "The Iran of today is not comparable with the past and, with God's help and favor, and to the dismay of the enemies and against their will, dear Iran has made progress and, from now on, too, our youths will see that, with their cooperation, the country will make progress many times more than this."
