Pars Today – Shayan Forudi won a silver medal on the eighth day of the Asian Shooting Championships in Shymkent, Kazakhstan.

According to Pars Today, on Tuesday, the eighth day of the Asian Shooting Championships in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, Iran's representatives in the junior and youth trap events took to the firing line. At the conclusion of the junior trap competitions, Shayan Forudi, with a score of 106, won the silver medal after the shooter from India. This brings the total number of medals for the Iranian shooting team at the Asian Championships to 12.

Angola claims the African Basketball Championship title

The final of the 2025 African Basketball Championship was held at the Kilamba Arena in Luanda, where over 12,000 spectators witnessed the outstanding performance of the Angolan national team. The team, with a flawless record of six consecutive victories and no losses, lifted the trophy.

On the other hand, the Malian national team, despite its loss in the final, achieved its best result in history by becoming the runner-up of Africa for the first time.

In the third-place match, the Senegalese national team defeated Cameroon 98-72 to claim the third-place title for the third consecutive time.

The Fair Play Award was given to the Madagascan national team.
