Zionist media: Trump sold out Israel for Nobel Prize
Pars Today – Zionist media outlets, expressing fury over Donald Trump's engagement with Hamas's response to a ceasefire proposal, mocked the U.S. president Writing he "sold them out for a Nobel Peace Prize."
Following Hamas's official response to the US President Donald Trump's 20-point ceasefire proposal, a wave of confusion has emerged within the political and media spheres of the Zionist regime.
According to a Pars Today report citing Mehr News Agency, this confusion has primarily manifested as criticism of Donald Trump and mockery of his apparent eagerness regarding Hamas's response. Several published cartoons, for instance, have depicted him as being subordinate to the Hamas movement.
Barak Ravid, a prominent Zionist journalists and a reporter for Channel 12 and the American website Axios, revealed that Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of the Zionist regime, did not anticipate Trump's reaction.
The Zionist network Kan also accused Trump of damaging Israel's credibility, noting that Tel Aviv currently cannot declare Hamas's response unacceptable to it.
On the other hand, Amir Bohbot, the military reporter for the Walla website, described Hamas's move as "psychological warfare" and "passing the ball to the American and Israeli court."
Israeli analyst and journalist Noam Amir believes that Hamas's response has passed the ball to Trump's court. This sentiment was echoed by a Channel 14 reporter for the Zionist regime, who stated that Trump "fell into Hamas's statement trap" after publicly calling on Israel to stop its attacks on the Gaza Strip.
For the same reason, a reporter from Channel 13 of the Zionist regime's television said: "Hamas emerged victorious from the recent events."
The website of the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, expressing anger at Trump's satisfaction with Hamas's response, wrote that Trump sold out the Zionist regime in exchange for a Nobel Peace Prize.
Almog Boker, a political affairs reporter for Channel 12 of the Israeli regime, pointed out the contradictions between Trump's plan and Hamas's response. He noted that Trump's plan mentions an international force, while Hamas speaks of a Palestinian technocratic government. Trump's plan demands the release of all prisoners within 72 hours, but Hamas's response makes the release of prisoners conditional on the withdrawal of the Israeli army from Gaza. Furthermore, Trump seeks the disarmament of Hamas, yet Hamas's official statement did not address this point at all.
Suleiman Maswadeh, another journalist with the Kan network, reported that Hamas has not, in fact, provided a response that accepts the Trump plan. Instead, it has demanded negotiations on most of its clauses. Contrary to Trump's request, Hamas has rejected disarming the Gaza Strip or laying down its own weapons.
He added that Trump has placed Israel in a difficult position, to the extent that it now cannot say that Hamas's response is unacceptable to it.
